In final preparation for New Year’s Eve, the iconic Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball is illuminated andsent up the 130-foot pole atop One Times Square. The Constellation Ball, unveiled in November 2025, is the ninth iteration of the Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball since its debut in 1907. Measuring 12.5 feet in diameter, weighing 12,350 pounds, adorned with 5,280 crystals and LED light pucks, nearly double the number of crystals as the previous Ball, it is the largest New Year’s Eve Ball yet.
